We had wanted to catch the 12am time slot but Chris being Chris was late and we reached Orchard Cineleisure @ 1145.. the tickets were totally sold out.. so we had to take the next time slot which is 220am. Its also weird the ticketeer asked for our identity card to watch the movie because of the sex scene! We had good laugh over that... so from 11 to 2am what do we do?
Again... Chris being Chris, she pursuaded me to go Boiler for alittle bit of dance and drinks. So yes from 12-2am we were at Boiler. While trying to get our stamp on our hands to get into Boiler, once again we were being asked for our ID! Since it was not our plan to club, obviously both of us did not bring our ID and we were also quite casually dress. To cut the long story short... we managed to get in with a regular friend's help.
Now back to the movie.. being a chick movie freak, I wasn't feeling sleepy despite it being 220am. I focus on every detail of the movie, obviously also because its a paid movie. haha
Overall, I've enjoyed the movie thoroughly. Anne Hathaway has such sexy curly hair, how I wish I could carry off with a hair like this. Hmmm, and Jake Gyllenhaal is unseemingly hot in bed! oops.. haha
Jake plays the role of a charming playboy that screw around but has never gotten into a relationship. He has also never said "I LOVE YOU" to anyone. And Anne plays the role of a young girl with Parkinson which causes her to reserve herself from getting into a relationship as she doesn't believe anyone would love her enough to want to take care of her despite her illness.
Anne had to warn Jake all the time that they are just friends with benefits and not to get too involve or she will have to leave. But Jake eventually break the promise and proclaimed "LOVE" trembling. Its such a lovely scene, I almost tear!
Yes, love story it is and its only a movie. Some prefers to watch and let it go because it will never happen in real life but me, I will always start wondering and debating within myself about the movie. I watch "chick movie" because I am such a emotional freak... sometimes I hate myself for being that. Is it with all gals or is it just me?
In life, you may chance upon 1000 people but only 1 will change your life. There will only be 1 that makes you say "YES", that makes you do anything you can to be with him/her. And this 1/1000 is the one that is also mutually in love with you! There is no need to pursue, its just there. How sweet can that be if it really happens. 1 in 1000... that's like 1%! Yes, no one said its easy and it might not even happen. If you havent found the one, then you havent met him/her yet.
