Invisalign - My Journey to a beautiful smile!

I've never said this on any of my post even though I've been blogging for 2 year straight. But this has always been bothering me and why am I not blogging about it? The ugly truth is I do not want anyone to know I have super ugly bulging front teeth! Its worst than bugs bunny cos at least bugs bunny is nicely bulge. Ane me is just totally ugly.

Sometimes I wonder why people comment I have nice smile, maybe cos my bug teeth is not showing very much... but I think my front tooth is shifting even more now as time pass. It FUGLY! So yes, I am so determine to do something about it and I know its not going to come cheap and that's what been stopping me from consulting a Dentist all these years. Now, I clearly cannot live with my Fugly teeth anymore and I started browsing webbie for more information and I know I have a few options:

1) Traditonal Braces (clear or metel)

- Unless I have no other choice, traditional braces is so not for me. I need my confidence and with braces I am just gonna feel so sucky of myself and for 2 years straight? I better off dead!

2) Damon braces with less obvious metal

- Damon Braces was known to have faster result than that of the conventional ones. Also its suppose to be less obvious. When I asked the dentist to show me how would Damon Braces look... I skipped that option as well. To me... its still showing metal! hahas.. Vain can?

3) Porcelain Veneer

- This is best temporary fix! It has immediate result by just shaving off bulging tooth or excessive part of the teeth that is creating a crook. But I've also heard when the veneer falls off in years to come... you will have to get it fix again. And the cost is SGD1500 per tooth and you normally need to fix 4-6 teeth. So do your math... its not cheap as well. The only best part of it is you see effect immediately.

4) Invisalign

Ta da! And this is my clear choice! Yups... I've entered into the world of Invisalign. So what is invisalign? Gonna do that thing I always do "Copy and paste"! haha

So yes, I've visited Orchard Scotts Dental situated at Wheelock Place. My Dentist asked me what do I not like about my smile. I am like ?? Derrr you can obviously see that bulge can't u? The good news is, my dentist also said that there is alot of space for my teeth to move with invisalign so there is no need to remove any teeth! yay! When I told my sister that, she said, "guess you don't have much wisdom then." Me:"...."

So generally I've pretty healthy set of teeth.. just crooked! And I so need to fix it. Its funny how I looked at the assistant that was explaining about invisalign to me and I saw how crooked her teeth was and wonder why didn't she get a discount from her bosses and get it fix too? hahas...

Its a pretty good experience and the instalment plan works well for me! I will collect my 1st set of invisalign in about 6 weeks from now! And to top that up, my dentist also throw in free whitening treatment for me! How cool is that... god I am excited! Well, no one said its cheap, its not. But having a beautiful set of teeth is better than any plastic surgery a girl can ever go for. I don't need plastic I just need a perfect set of teeth because I so wanna smile like I never smile before! haha.
